GAME
GETTING INTO IT
So, you want to start playing Echoes Of Power.

To start learning how to play the game, I'll explain in short the important aspects you need to know and the essential tools.
MANUAL & PDF'S
The EoP Manual covers every aspect of the game in detail—from core mechanics and terminology to armies, tools, and interactions. You can access the Manual directly.
Players are also provided with downloadable PDF's that explain the game's Keywords and Special Rules, along with Army Indexes. These indexes allow players to browse each faction’s available units, view point costs, and use a Player Army List to build their own Armies. These PDFs are free to download.
All PDF's and Manual can also be found on the Resources page

THE MODELS
Echoes of Power uses 32mm scale miniatures, offering a diverse range of designs, themes, and character styles. From towering beasts to armored warriors and everything in between, the variety ensures there's something for every type of player—whether you prefer dark fantasy, high-tech, or classic heroic aesthetics. The scale strikes a perfect balance between detail and playability, making each miniature both visually striking and easy to use on the tabletop.
The miniatures are available as 3D-printable STL files, which players can purchase from the BlueWyvern MMF store.

Echoes of Power uses a variety of base sizes for its miniatures, ranging from 20x20mm to 100x100mm. Each base occupies space on the Game Field and plays a role in gameplay interactions.

For players without access to a 3D printer, EoP also offers 2D Unit Tokens that can be printed on paper. These tokens represent the same Units and share the exact dimensions as their 3D counterparts. Best of all, they're free to download

THE GAME FIELD
To play Echoes of Power, you’ll need a Game Field—a space to place objectives, deploy armies, and immerse yourself in the battlefield environment. The game offers official maps in various sizes, from compact Skirmish maps (80 cm x 140 cm) to expansive Full-Scale maps (240 cm x 140 cm). These maps provide plenty of room for units, dice rolling, and environmental miniatures for cover and scenery. EoP provides official maps for players to use.
That said, players are fully encouraged to create custom maps with their own dimensions, layouts, and biomes to suit their preferred play style or narrative.

UNIT PROFILES & TOOLS
The mechanics of Echoes of Power rely on a variety of tools, including dice, tokens, rulers, and flip coins. Dice are used for combat, flip coins help determine effect activations, Rulers to measure range and movement, and tokens are used to track stats, status effects, and other in-game conditions. Detailed instructions on how to use these tools can be found in the Manual.
These tools work alongside Unit Profiles—cards that display a Unit’s stats, attacks, abilities, keywords and faction/special rules. Players place tokens directly on these profiles to manage ongoing effects and interactions during the game.

Both the Unit Profiles and all necessary tools are available as free downloads. However, players will need to supply their own dice.

FREE STARTER ARMY
While Echoes of Power provides free Unit Tokens for all armies, players also have access to a free 3D-printable starter pack for a Skirmish-sized Bone Reaver army. This pack includes STL files for:
-
1x Commander
-
1x Infantry Squad
-
1x Support Squad
-
1x Heavy Squad
It’s a perfect entry point for new players looking to jump into the game with no upfront cost—aside from access to a 3D printer to print the models.
